Guest Emcee: Greg Kihn
|
|
Greg Kihn began his career in his hometown of Baltimore, MD as a
singer/songwriter. He switched to rock & roll when he
moved to San Francisco in 1974. In 1976 he recorded his first album with his own band,
which consisted of Ronnie Dunbar (guitar), Steve Wright (bass), and Larry
Lynch (drums). Through the '70s, he became Beserkley label's biggest seller. In 1981, he earned his first bona fide hit with the
Top 20 single, "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)," from
the "RocKihnRoll" album.
GK's most recent project is a book, "Carved in Rock,"
a collection of short stories written by musicians such as Ray Manzarek,
Pete Townsend and Joan Jett. Greg is the No. 1
morning drive time jock for KFOX in San Jose / San Francisco.

Comedy By: Tina Allen
|
|
A California native with one foot stuck in New Jersey.
Her comedy covers dating, family, kids, skiing, being a teacher,
growing up Catholic in today's world, and getting older. Bay area
audiences are entertained by her quick wit and cynicism. You can relate to
her experiences, but don't be fooled, she looks like she has a soft side but
it's not easily found.
